Arkansas Basketball: Transfer Guard out for Red-White Showcase

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— According to Hawg Country’s Will Whitson, top transfer guard Khalif Battle will miss Wednesday evening’s Red-White Showcase.

”Khalif Battle will not play for Team White in the Red/White scrimmage due to an unknown leg injury. He’s in his regular clothes, on crutches, with a boot on.”

The transfer from Temple is a former four-star and top-100 recruit in 2018 averaged 18 points per game last season while shooting 35-percent from three.

UPDATE: Coach Eric Musselman met with the media following the game and said there was good signs from X-Ray’s but no definitive answer.

“There was no determination of a break or anything,” said Musselman. “I know they’re going to look at it again tomorrow with different X-rays. As of right now, there’s no update.”
