Arkansas Football: Razorback commit receives huge rating boost

Arkansas football commit Courtney Crutchfield just received a huge rating boost from 247Sports.

At the time of his commitment, Crutchfield was a borderline 4-star. 247Sports ranked him as the 384th player in the class of 2024, the 55th wide receiver prospect, and the fifth best player in the state of Arkansas.

Crutchfield’s former head coach, and current head coach for Pine Bluff high school, Michael Williams tweeted out the news.

247Sports now rates him at 94 making him an undeniable 4-star prospect. The Pine Bluff native jumped from being a top 400 recruit in the country to nearly in the top 50 at No. 64. He’s now ranked the 11th best receiver in the 2024 class.

The 2024 class is one of the best to come out of the state of Arkansas. Crutchfield is now atop the talented bunch, hopping over Auburn commit Walker White and fellow Arkansas commit Charleston Collins.

The Razorback’s 2024 recruiting class has already started off as one of the best in school history. With ten current commits—seven 4-stars—Crutchfield’s rating boost make the nationally 15th ranked class just that much sweeter.
