Williams Nwaneri, top rated defensive lineman in the nation in the 2024 recruiting cycle has Arkansas in his top 10. Razorback Football has seen an influx of highly touted defensive prospects visit Fayetteville since the beginning of the year. A lot of that is due credit to new defensive coordinators Travis Williams and Marcus Woodson.

The 6‘6, 260 pound edge rusher from of Lee’s Summit, (Mo.) announced a top school list on Friday that included Georgia, Colorado, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, Oregon, Missouri and Arkansas.

Nwaneri initially visited last April. Then, he attended the October Arkansas-Alabama game this past season and again on April 14.

Arkansas already has commitments from a trio of defensive linemen for the 2024 class. Adding someone the caliber of Nwaneri would be icing on the cake. Kavion Henderson (20th), Charleston Collins (26th) and Dion Stutts (61st) are the linemen currently pledged to the Hogs.

The Missouri native had a very very productive junior year recording 56 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 12 sacks.
