BREAKING: Drew Sanders has been drafted to the Denver Broncos

Kansas City, (Mo.) — With the 67th pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos have selected Arkansas standout Drew Sanders.

The Denton, Tx native began his career with Alabama. He earned a starting role with the Tide but an injury sidelined him, leaving Will Anderson and Dallas Turner to fill his spot. Sanders recorded 33 tackles, and one sack at Alabama.

After his Sophomore season, Sander transfer to Arkansas and quickly became a household name. His break out game against South Carolina showed fans just how great of a player he was, recording 11 tackles, 8 solo, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and one pass breakup.

Sanders finished his time at Arkansas recording 103 tackles, 40 solo, 9.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 5 pass breakups, and 1 interception.

In high school, he was ranked the No. 22 recruit in his class according to 247Composite and the No. 1 Athlete in the state of Texas. His senior year he helped lead Ryan High School in Denton, Tx to a 15-1 record, losing the the 5A state title game to Shadow Creek.

Although he was drafted as the 67th pick, Sanders was the 3rd inside linebacker to be selected.
