BREAKING: Hogs land top 100 prospect

Arkansas has been in the hunt for several top 100 players and missed out on a couple in previous days. However, Kenny Guiton continues to work his magic in the wide receiver room. This time the Razorbacks land the no. 92 player in the country, Ashton Bethel-Roman from Missouri City, Texas.

Bethel-Roman is the 18th ranked wide receiver in the 2024 class and 16th best prospect in the Lonestar State. He received 22 reported offers before committing to Arkansas on Tuesday.

The 6’1 170 pound receiver picked the Hogs over Oregon, Texas Tech, Baylor, Kansas State and Ole Miss.

He is a dual sport athlete as well competing for his high school track and field program.Bethel-Roman’s best time this spring was a career high 21.51 200 meter dash.

As a junior at Ridge Point High School, Bethel-Roman had a burst onto the scene that saw him reel in 37 passes for 892 yards and 8 touchdowns.

His father, Mark Roman, was a standout player for LSU and went into play in the NFL.

With the addition of this high flying receiver (24.1 ypc in 2022).
