BREAKING: Ricky Stromberg drafted to the Washington Commanders

Kansas City, (Mo.) — With the 97th pick, the Washington Commanders selected former Arkansas Center Ricky Stromberg.

Stromberg has anchored the offensive line for Arkansas the last 4 year. Starting all but three game since the 2019 season, he helped the Razorbacks produce one of the best rushing attacks in the country.

According to Pro Football Focus, Stromberg allowed just 4 sacks in his career at Arkansas. In 2022, he didn’t allow a single sack in 231 attempts. Pro Football Focus also ranked Stromberg the 4th best Center in the country, and 2nd in the SEC grading out at 82.4-percent.

In 2022, Stromberg won the Jacob’s Blocking Trophy—given to the best offensive lineman in the SEC—was an honorable Mention All-American, and First-Team All-SEC. Here is a list of his accolades:
