Fans, Former Players, and Media Reactions To Hogs’ Loss To Rebels

OXFORD, (Miss.) — Once again the Razorbacks were on the bitter end of yet another one possession loss on Saturday against Ole Miss. It’s not actually the losses mounting up that are the issue but how they are happening. Play calling on offense has left much to be desired and that may be discounting the concern. It is completely inconsistent how on one series plays seem to be clicking but instead of continuing to call what works, they go back to running on all three downs leading to a punt.

A week after not committing a single penalty, the Hogs returned to their usual ways with ill-timed fouls. One can live with a player making a mistake with formation issues due tot not playing a whole lot. But, continually displaying a lack of composure on the line of scrimmage is alarming. The question of how this is not being addressed or fixed is a huge issue. College Football is six weeks into the season, if undisciplined play hasn’t been fixed at this point it will remain an issue.

There were several issues and fans, former players and media members alike continue to share their frustrations on social media. Here are just a few of the comments made throughout Arkansas’ loss to Ole Miss on Saturday.

This is disturbing for a Razorback offense that’s averaged 230 yards per game over the past two seasons.

Seldomly used tight end Ty Washington has been productive when called upon during the two games he’s actually played in. Three touchdowns on eight career receptions tells us he deserves playing time. Will he elevate his play with Alabama looming?
