FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Razorback Basketball team and Eric Musselman has hosted quite a few top 50 prospects for multiple classes over the month of September. Jalen Shelley was one of those who visited for the Kent State game on September 9. Soon after he committed to the Hogs following the weekend.

For the September 23 weekend Arkansas hosted one of the best small forwards in the 2024 class in Isaiah Elohim. The Sierra Canyon talent released a top three list on Monday that included the Arkansas, Kansas and Villanova. Now, he has received a prediction to Arkansas by basketball insider, Trilly Donovan.

The 6-foot-5, 195 pounder is ranked in the top 50, per 247sports composite recruiting rankings. Elohim is rated the 11th best small forward and fifth best prospect in the state of California. He averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game as a junior for the Trailblazers with now USC freshman Bronny James.

Arkansas will continue having visits throughout the month of October with practice starting this week. On October 4, top 50 prospect Rakease Passmore will be in town for the Red-White scrimmage at famed Barnhill Arena. Also, Tre Johnson — teammate of Shelley at Link Prep– will be in for a visit the weekend of Oct. 20.

A commitment announcement from Elohim is expected to happen in the next week, per Paul Biancardi of ESPN.
