How Far Is KJ Jefferson From Holding All-Time Records

Published

on

KJ Jefferson continues to put together a fantastic career in a Razorback uniform. From a statistical standpoint he has been better than ever this season completing 70.3% of his passes for 918 yards, 9 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

The Sardis, (Miss.) native is coming off one of his best performances as a Razorback against LSU last Saturday. Every single time LSU and their star quarterback Jayden Daniels made a huge play or touchdown the camera would pan to Jefferson focused on what he would do next to help his team win. Arkansas continued to fight until the end but would lose on a field goal with just five seconds to go.

Each week provides new opportunities and this week will show how much resolve this Razorback team possesses. How bad do they want to win this weekend? With the Arkansas offense improving each week, it will set Jefferson up to take hold of at least one record this weekend, total touchdowns responsible for. For the moment, Arkansas’ do-it-all QB is tied with Matt Jones with 77 touchdowns in his career.

Other record Jefferson chases:

Pass attempts: 250

Pass completions: 82

Passing yards: 1044

Passing TD: 8

Total Snaps: 18

Total Yards: 114

TD Responsibility: 1

This could very well be the weekend that sees many records fall while Jefferson rewrites the media guide at Arkansas. If he continues to have consistent performances for the remainder of the season he will surely be Arkansas’ most productive quarterback all-time.
