Fayetteville, (Ark.) —  Arkansas wide receiver Landon Rogers has entered the transfer portal.

The quarterback turned receiver was a former 3-star receiver out of Little Rock Parkview. Rogers signed with Arkansas as part of the 2021 signing class, picking the Hogs over offers from Houston and Kansas.

At Arkansas, Rogers only ever participate in one game against UAPB, but didn’t record any stats. In Saturday’s spring game he hauled in both of his targets for 31 yards. That marked the second most receiving yards for the day by a receiver, only behind Isaiah Sategna’s 65.

Rogers is the first active Hog to jump in the portal in the second window. Former tight end Dax Courtney has also entered, but he had already medically retired at Arkansas.

With Rogers’ departure, Arkansas now has eight open scholarships to use in the second portal window.
