NEWS: 2025 big man to visit Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — According to a source, 2025 center Malachi Moreno says he has scheduled an unofficial visit to Arkansas next month. The 6-foot-11 big man is said to be an elite rebounder with excellent finish around the basket. His length gives makes him a elite rim protector.

247sports has Moreno ranked as a top 50 prospect in his class coming out of Great Crossing High School in Georgetown, (Ky.). Overall is he is rated the 7th best center in the nation and top prospect in the Bluegrass State. He holds offers from more than a dozen schools including the Razorbacks, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State Purdue and Tennessee.

According to his visit list he holds five schools as favorites. He will visit Indiana (September 2), Arkansas (September 9), Michigan (September 16), Notre Dame (September 23) and Tennessee (September 30).

Other 2025 prospects that hold offers from Arkansas include the Boozer twins (Cayden and Cameron), Terrion Burgess and Jai Hayes.
