If there was anyone in this class you can’t really get a read on it was Wyatt Simmons. The Harding Academy linebacker put together an exceptional junior campaign. He was simply not very well known until putting his tape out there with curiosity. His recruitment then blew up with offers from his home-state Razorbacks, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Clemson, USC and Oklahoma.
Simmons let everyone know about his commitment to Arkansas on Saturday with a short post.

If you play his highlight reel one would see solid instincts, always near the football and a knack for making big plays. It also helps that his father is a head coach for an instate Division II school, Harding University so his development seems to be ahead of others at his position.
The 6’3 215 pound linebacker has good size and speed to play LB in the SEC and would be a good addition to the 2024 class for Arkansas. Most players like Simmons lack a complete recruiting profile considering a lack of participation in camps. Regardless of his mid three-star status, the Searcy, (Ark.) native is a tremendous addition to the 2024 class.
As a junior, Simmons recorded junior 84 tackles, 15 TFL, 6 sacks, 1 INT, 2 fumble recoveries, and 2 defensive TDs. He also played on offense rushing 12 times for 61 yards and 1 TD. He also caught 2 passes for 109 yards and 2 TDs.
