Razorback Basketball: Top player for 2024 has Hogs on top 6

Class of 2024 consensus five-star, Tre Johnson has released his top school list and he’s down to six programs. There’s a lot of SEC flavor here with Arkansas, Alabama and Ne Ricky being included.

By the time he enrolls and begins playing, Texas will also be an SEC member.

Fellow Big 12 powers Kansas and Baylor round out the list. Both programs have won national championships in the previous half-decade.

According to many scouts Johnson is a long, athletic three-level scorer and worthy of being ranked as the top player in the his class. He’s taken visits to Baylor, Texas, Kansas and Kentucky. Johnson hopes to visit Arkansas in the coming months so do not count Eric Musselman and Arkansas out just yet.

The Razorbacks have yet to land a commitment for the 2024 class. However, they were included in a tip school list for Jase Richardson, the 20th ranked prospect in the same class.
