For the first time since the 2019 recruiting class, the state of Arkansas has produced five bonafide four-star recruits. So far the Razorbacks have landed just two: Charleston Collins and Courtney Crutchfield. Now, they might be on the verge of adding one more.

On Sunday, linebacker Brian Huff dropped his top 4 schools in a tweet via his personal account. Along with Arkansas, Huff named UCF, UNLV, and Mizzou.

At 6’3.5 and 221 pounds, Huff is ranked the fourth best player in the state and the 26th best LB in the 2024 class by 247Composite. On3 Sports, however, ranks in higher as the second and 12th best, respectively.

The Jonesboro native had offers from many power 5 schools including Kansas State, LSU, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, and Oklahoma.

The other uncommitted four-star is Braylen Russell of Benton High School. With a commitment from either Russell or Huff, Arkansas will match 2019’s class with three instate four-stars. However, if the Razorbacks can manage to get both, 2024’s class will have the most Natural State four-stars since 2015.
