The Razorbacks are trending in the right direction when it comes to recruiting.
Not to diminish the abilities of offensive prospects it takes a special type of player to have an elite defense. While taking many diamonds in the rough it makes the turnaround much longer but the payoff sweeter at some point.
Arkansas should fully understand that after having a very underwhelming season on the defensive side of the football in 2022. Luckily, it doesn’t take nearly as long to flip a roster as it did just a few years ago due to the transfer portal. Head coach, Sam Pittman and his new staff hit the ground running and have done a good job of adding talent on all three levels of the defense.
Some of the impact players from last season have either exhausted their eligibility or left for the professional ranks. But, there’s plenty of experience returning with talented freshmen and transfers added.
The Razorbacks do have plenty of talented high school seniors considering their football program right now. With summer time approaching and visits beginning to be scheduled Arkansas is in a good place to see quite a few impact players make their way to “The Hill.”
