Razorback Football: NFL Expert is high on two Arkansas offensive linemen

Published

The Razorbacks lack in the experience department along the offensive line this season. Sam Pittman’s first three seasons have been spent identifying deficiencies and adding talent.

It’s taken quite a bit of time to field a competent two or three deep. However, it looks like Pittman has Arkansas set moving forward. There remains only two offensive line starters returning this season from the Chad Morris era.

If anything, the former high school coaching icon did right was recruiting. Beaux Limmer and Brady Latham have been solid starters during their careers. Luckily, they’ve been under the guru when it comes to offensive line coaches. Pittman has them in a very good spot to potentially be drafted in 2024.

Here’s what NFL scout Jim Nagy had to say about the pair of senior linemen:

Arkansas only returns two starters up front in Brady Latham and Beaux Limmer. This pair has an impressive 65 combined starts and gives the Razorback Football program two legit Draftable offensive line prospects.

Brady Latham

The Jenks, (Okla.) native‘s efficiency & effectiveness grew on us over course of tape study and he’s among top-graded OG for 2024 @seniorbowl heading into fall.

[Brady] is type of smart, tough, & dependable O-linemen that NFL coaches covet because has knack for hanging, battling, and getting people blocked at high rate.

Beaux Limmer

The Tyler, Texas native “will be moving from right guard to center this fall and we look forward to evaluating him at center since that will be primary position as a pro.”

“[Beaux] has the quickness, lateral range, and awareness to move up draft boards at his new spot.”

Limmer has made 24 consecutive starts for the Razorbacks but had his best season in 2022. He earned honors such as Third-Team All-America honors from Pro Football Focus, Second-Team All-SEC from the Associated Press and PFF and Fourth-Team All-SEC from Phil Steele.

Both Limmer and Latham helped pave the way for one of the most dynamic offenses in school history, gaining 6,128 total yards in 2022. That mark alone was the second-most yards from scrimmage gained in school history. The pair were also maulers, blocking for one of the best running back groups on the country. The backs rushed for 3,077 yards good enough for 10th-most in school history.
