Late last week, Overtime’s 7v7 had its finals event at Huntington Beach, California. Some of the best high school skill players from all over the nation participated. Two of those lucky enough to play were current Arkansas commits Courtney Crutchfield and Noreel White.

The pair of receivers played for 24K, a team based out of central Florida. As a team, 24K went 3-4 in the competition, but Crutchfield and White made great impressions in spite of the lackluster showing. On the second day of the competition, Cooper Petagna of 247Sports wrote raving reviews of the two. He said this about White:

“A Top247 athlete from the Magnolia State, White joined fellow Razorbacks commit Crutchfield with a standout performance of his own. An excellent short-area mover with the ability to get in and out of brakes quickly, White found himself getting loose downfield a time or two while flashing some impressive ball skills in the process. Possessing a strong frame at a hair under 6-feet, White’s playmaking ability is evident and another prospect that should factor into Arkansas’ plans early on at the next level.”

The Ocean Springs native continued to show out for the rest of the finals. Yesterday against Pressure Elite, White “Mossed” an opposing DB for a touchdown.

As for Crutchfield’s performance, Petagna said this:

“The No. 64 ranked prospect in the Top247, Crutchfield was one of the most impressive body types in attendance on Friday evening. Hovering around 6-foot-2 and 175-pounds, the Arkansas pledge flashed some excellent leaping ability and body control at the receiver position, making a beautiful contested catch in one of the last games of the day that helped solidify a strong individual performance. A two-way prospect at Pine Bluff High School, the Natural State native’s bubbling upside on the offensive side of the ball stands out immediately in-person.”

On the second day, Crutchfield was named one of the top performers of the day by On3Sports, coming in third. However, the future Hogs was also named the ninth best performer throughout the entire event.

Any way you shake it, Arkansas looks to be in mighty good shape as it constructs its 2024 recruiting class.
