Any given Saturday inside of Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville one will hear the phrase “turn that damn jukebox on” at least 10 times throughout Gameday. Does anyone mind it? No, not me!
The enthusiasm that Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman displayed after guiding his 2020 team to their first SEC victory since 2017 will never be forgotten. The fun of shutting down an offense that set offensive records the week prior was awesome. Seeing a team do something they couldn’t do for two and a half seasons will always be remembered fondly.
“TURN THAT DAMN JUKEBOX ON!”
That phrase was played what seems like over a million times that week across ESPN, Fox Sports, local Razorback news coverage and social media. Pittman soon became a media darling and beloved by the fans.
Pittman has brought swagger back to the Arkansas locker room. He’s instilled confidence in his team to compete at a high level. To many folks around the conference he’s become the most quotable coach in the SEC.
During SEC Media Days last week he was asked by a reporter with Pig Trail Nation if he would allow new defensive coordinator to DJ in the locker room. Which is very likely.
Pittman also said he is into covers of old songs, too.

The Head Hog also embraced his opportunity to be on stage with Foreigner two Friday’s ago while they performed at The Walmart AMP in Rogers. Pittman had no worries that day even if two players were committing to his team at the same time the concert was going on.
