Sam Pittman updates the health of Quincey McAdoo

Just a few months ago, rising star Quincey McAdoo was involved in a traffic accident in Fayetteville. Although he came away without life threatening injuries it looks like his availability for the upcoming season is in question.

“…I think he’s going to be cleared a little bit more in three to four weeks, and then we’ll go from there,” Pittman said.

“I think that there’s a great chance he’ll get back to 100%. I just don’t know how long that’s going to be. Whether it’s for me to say that he’ll have an opportunity to play this year would probably be premature on that.”

McAdoo emerged as a star in the making at cornerback last season through the final four games. The Clarendon, (Ark.) product record 30 tackles, 2 interceptions and a blocked punts. The rising sophomore was set to be one of the starting two cornerbacks for 2023.
