Not too often has there been praise given to the Razorback offensive line. They did have to make some starting lineup adjustments ahead of their matchup with Western Carolina on Saturday due to a Brady Latham injury.
That gave some other Hogs a shot at playing time including Ty’kieast Crawford. A former four-star lineman out of Carthage, (Tx.) initially committed to the Razorbacks before having to start his career at Charlotte instead.
The redshirt-junior was expected to be a starter or contribute heavily right away once he transferred to Fayetteville during the 2021 season. However, he still remains a rotational piece. Maybe not for long though.
SEC Network analyst and sideline reporter Cole Cubelic gave Arkansas a solid review following their victory on Saturday. That includes a shoutout highlight on his X (Twitter) account.
Cubelic’s Takeaway
“Handled their business. KJ made some REALLY nice throws. Moved OL around with one out & they did some nice things. [Crawford] played well, physical! [Beaux Limmer] was great other than snaps. Must correct. Rocket did Rocket things. WRs had nice grabs, want to see more separation. Protection issues were collective. Liked mix of Q runs in the plan. DL active, [Trajan Jeffcoat] really nice but thought they all flashed at times rushing passer & holding point. [Landon Jackson] set edge well. Secondary better. LBs were flying around, [Jaheim Thomas] looked like he was shot out of a cannon! Takeaways big, need to cut flags.”
