UPDATE: Arkansas DB returns to team following arrest

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Transfer defensive back Kee’Yon Stewart missed the season opening game against Western Carolina on Saturday. That was a result from an arrest due to speeding and reckless driving charges.

The TCU transfer was booked in Washington County at 10:18 a.m. Friday morning and released later that evening at 9:44 p.m.

“Kee’yon Stewart has 5 community service events he needs to go to. He was suspended this past Saturday but he’s back on the team.”

Stewart played 13 games last season for the College Football Playoff runner-up’s. He’s experienced a productive career as a utility defensive back recording 46 tackles, 1.5 TFL, 1 sack and 1 INT.

The Razorbacks need all hands on deck if they want to turn around what was a struggling secondary in 2022.
