WATCH: Arkansas Center MAXES out on squat

Arkansas’ Beaux Limmer has been the strongest player on the team for most of the last three years.

The Razorbacks have been challenged in the trenches to be stronger than they were to close 2022. Whatever it was against the last quarter of the season it seemed like Arkansas had issues moving the ball in goal-to-go and short yardage situations.

That led to head coach Sam Pittman to make a change in the strength and conditioning room. After a terrible performance in a loss against Missouri to close the season, Jamil Walker was ousted.

Ben Sowders was then hired away a few weeks later. The former Louisville S&C coach worked with Pittman at Georgia.

It looks like there’s been a challenge in the offseason to see the Arkansas grow stronger and increase stamina. Sowders has helped transform plenty of bodies including a chiseled KJ Jefferson, 10-pound heavier Raheim Sanders and Landon Jackson who has gained nearly 50-pounds to carve out a true SEC edge rusher body.

Now, it looks like the offensive line won’t be pushed around much longer as Limmer has maxed out his squat. 700 pounds of steel was lifted in the video below.

Notice the excitement? It’s always neat to see players meet or exceed their goals. Especially when you’re already dubbed as the strongest player on the team.

Limmer is one of two returning starters for an offensive line that is short on experience but heavy on talent.

With the massive amount of strength displayed it should generate some excitement for Hog fans. This group of Razorbacks will not be pushed around on the OL any longer.
