WATCH: Kjerstad’s First MLB Hit Goes Yard

BALTIMORE, Md. — It didn’t take long for former Razorback and current Baltimore Oriole to make his presence known.

His first hit as a major leaguer was a huge home run that put his team on the board, breaking up a no-hitter in the bottom of the sixth inning. During his major league debut, the rookie was 0-1 with a strikeout on Thursday night.

If Kjerstad can string together solid plate performances to go along with his defense he may have a reason to stay on the roster after Ryan Mountcastle’s injuy.
